Ariana Grande's eighth studio album, Petal, topped Billboard's weekly new music poll with 41% of the vote by the poll's close on Sunday. The album arrived Friday, July 31, 2026, during her Eternal Sunshine Tour.

Ariana Grande’s new studio album Petal won this week’s Billboard new music poll, securing 41% of the vote by the poll’s close on Sunday.

The 12-song collection arrived Friday, July 31, 2026, and serves as the follow-up to 2024’s Eternal Sunshine, which spent three weeks atop the Billboard 200. Grande released the album mid-Eternal Sunshine Tour.

The album’s title track, the second single from Petal, follows the Hot 100 No. 1 hit “Hate That I Made You Live Me.” A satirical music video for the title track features Grande as Pepper, an actress playing a performer who repeatedly attempts to satisfy critics before losing her composure.

In the poll, “Efímero” by Erick Brian, Dale Pututi & Nesty placed second with 26% of the vote, while Cardi B’s “AH HA” came third with 18%.
