Soulja Boy (born DeAndre Cortez Way) filed in California court on July 22 to request a DNA test for his alleged 3-year-old son, KeAndre Way, according to court documents viewed by Billboard.
The filing came in response to a lawsuit filed by ex-partner Jackilyn Martinez in October 2025. Martinez is seeking primary custody of the child and child support from the rapper, claiming she has been primarily covering the child’s expenses.
If proven to be the father, Soulja Boy agreed to cover pregnancy costs and Martinez’s legal fees. According to TMZ, Martinez provided courts with a text message in which Soulja Boy allegedly told her to stop contacting him.
Soulja Boy posted about the newborn following KeAndre’s birth in September 2022 and was reportedly present for the child’s gender reveal earlier that year. KeAndre is Soulja Boy’s only alleged child.
