Jay-Z performed The Blueprint, the album that turns 25 this year, during night two of his three-day residency at Yankee Stadium. The Brooklyn rapper performed nearly 30 songs from the album, including “Hola Hovito,” “All I Need,” “U Don’t Know” and “Never Change.”
Slick Rick appeared as the first guest, performing “La Di Dadi” and “Children’s Story” after Jay-Z opened with “The Ruler’s Back.” Eminem joined next to perform their collaboration “Renegade,” also delivering his single “Lose Yourself” to the crowd.
Pharrell made the final guest appearance, performing multiple songs with Jay-Z including “Frontin’,” “Excuse Me Miss,” “Give It to Me” and “Allure.” The audience engaged throughout the night, singing along to the majority of the setlist.
