JAY-Z performed The Blueprint front-to-back on Saturday, July 11 at Yankee Stadium, beginning at 9:10 p.m. and concluding at 10:40 p.m. The 1.5-hour set featured no encore, contrasting with Friday’s Reasonable Doubt 30th Anniversary concert where the artist joked about having two more nights ahead at Yankee Stadium.
The performance opened with “The Ruler’s Back,” featuring special guest Slick Rick. Eminem appeared on “Renegade,” described as the highlight of the set, followed by “Lose Yourself.” Pharrell joined for a run of songs including “Excuse Me Miss,” “I Just Wanna Love U (Give It 2 Me),” “Frontin’,” and “Allure.” The set concluded with “Encore” at 10:40 p.m., despite the absence of an actual encore.
The abbreviated runtime raised questions about the 56-year-old MC’s stamina across three consecutive Yankee Stadium performances. The final show is scheduled for Sunday, July 12.
