Jay-Z performed a 90-minute set at Yankee Stadium on Saturday, July 12, 2026, to mark the 25th anniversary of his 2001 album “The Blueprint.” The show featured guest appearances from Eminem, Pharrell Williams and Slick Rick, with the Brooklyn native largely adhering to the album’s original tracklist.
The performance opened with Slick Rick joining Jay-Z for “The Ruler’s Back,” followed by tracks including “U Don’t Know,” “Song Cry” and “Heart of the City (Ain’t No Love).” Eminem appeared twice during the set, trading verses with Jay-Z on “Renegade” and performing his signature hit “Lose Yourself.”
Pharrell Williams joined for multiple collaborative tracks spanning “I Just Wanna Love U (Give It 2 Me),” “La-La-La (Excuse Me Again),” “Frontin'” and “Allure.” The set concluded with “Empire State of Mind,” “N—s in Paris,” “Public Service Announcement” and “Encore.”
Jay-Z reflected on the album’s release on September 11, 2001. “This album dropped on a real tragic time for New York City and I was prepared to walk away from this album,” he said, adding, “the way it resonated with the world, it was like part of healing for New York City.”
The Yankee Stadium shows are part of a three-night celebration. The first night on Friday featured Beyoncé, Nas, Jaz-O and Alicia Keys commemorating the 30-year anniversary of Jay-Z’s 1996 debut “Reasonable Doubt.” The final show, billed as “Extra Innings,” is scheduled for Sunday night.
