Fred Again.. and Latin Mafia are livestreaming the entire recording process of their collaborative mixtape on YouTube from a studio in Mexico City as of July 28, 2026. The three-day livestream will run continuously until the project is finished.
Latin Mafia, the Mexican trio of brothers Milton, Emilio and Mike de la Rosa, linked up with the global DJ after he became a fan of their 2024 debut album Todos Los Días Todo El Día. The collaboration began when Fred invited them to his home in London, where they worked with him and his collaborator Benjy Gibson.
“Without a doubt, [Fred Again..] is one of the brightest musical minds that we have met,” Milton de la Rosa told Rolling Stone. “It’s been a crazy experience to work with him because he’s a very talented person.”
The pair previously collaborated on an audiovisual performance titled Under the Fabric (Mexico City, 11th December 2025), which premiered at Cine Tonalá in Mexico City before moving to YouTube. That short film ended with the date July 28, hinting at the livestream session now underway.
Fred has praised Latin Mafia’s work publicly, writing on Instagram: “[Latin Mafia] are makin some of my favourite music in the world right now. It’s so beautiful but surprising but contained but adventurous.”
