De La Rose, a Puerto Rican singer who has become one of 2026’s most-streamed female Latin acts on Spotify, has released “La Monda,” a new single with Colombian singer Ryan Castro.
“Being able to see my music connect with people in different countries and cultures is something I’m extremely grateful for,” De La Rose told Rolling Stone. “I never want to lose the connection with my fans or the authenticity that brought me here.”
De La Rose, whose real name is Yuberkis Gabriela Marie de la Rosa Bryan, is from Cayey and has previously collaborated with reggaeton artists including Myke Towers, Jhayco, Sech, and Mora. “La Monda” is Colombian Caribbean slang meaning something is cool or the best. Castro contributes his signature “Awoo!” callout midway through the track. The music video, shot in Miami, depicts a vibrant party set in Colombia.
De La Rose’s upcoming EP will feature singers from Spain and Puerto Rico. “This EP represents a new chapter for me,” she said. “It shows different sides of my personality, my experiences, and my evolution as an artist.” Her 2025 debut album FX De La Rose produced hits including “Nubes” featuring Omar Courtz, “Yo Te Conozco :):,” and “$extape” with Eladio Carrión.
